Can I leave the festival and come back later?

Yes, as long as you keep your wristband on! 
If you have lost your wristband we may not let you back in.

What are Concession Tickets For?

Concession tickets cover anyone in the following categories:
- Student (with a valid student card)
- Registered Disabled 
- Blue Badge Holders

Do Carers Need Tickets?

If you need a carer with you on the day, please drop us an email to pride@crawleylgbt.com with your booking reference and we will add a carer on for you.

Question 4

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We will have a limited amount of tickets available to sell on the day. However, we recommend you buy your tickets in advance for guaranteed entry!

Question 5

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Although the whole team loves dogs we'd recommend not bringing along your furry friends, we are on an open site with minimal shade and so we don't want them overheating! 
If you do bring your dog please make sure you have enough water for them and a way to clean up after them. 
Our security team may ask you to leave if your dog is misbehaving.

Is the parade free to watch?

Yes it is! We will be starting at the Memorial Gardens at 11am and marching all the way through town ending at Goffs Park!

Is there parking at the pride festival?

Accepted Answer

Parking is not provided and we recommend you plan alternative routes to get to pride! 
There is a bus stop right outside the park and we are within walking distance of Crawley town centre and parking. If you require parking for accessibility then please contact us at pride@crawleylgbt.com

Question 8

Where does the money made from pride go?

Accepted Answer

We are a Community Interest Company meaning any money made has to be reinvested into CrawleyLGBT! Any money made goes straight into creating and running projects throughout the year such as the Sussex Trans Social group and many more we have planned for the future.

How can I get involved?

You can get involved by going to the 'Get Involved' section of our website! 
There are forms to apply to perform, hold a stall, be in the parade and volunteer.

Question 10

Can I bring a chair or picnic mat?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You are allowed to bring folding chairs and picnic mats to the event. However if you are bringing a folding chair we ask that you set up towards the back of the crowd to avoid blocking the view of other attendees.

Question 11

Can I bring food?

Accepted Answer

We ask that you do not bring your own food into the event unless it is needed for medical purposes. We will have food vendors on site for you to purchase from throughout the day.

Question 12

Will photos be taken on the day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We will have a photographer walking around grabbing photos throughout the day, by buying a ticket you consent to these photos being taken for marketing purposes by CrawleyLGBT CIC

How do under 16 tickets work?

This year our Child (Under 16) tickets are free! Please be aware that anyone holding an under 16 ticket will need to be accompanied by someone over the age of 16.
